  • This trail is rated as a Moderate Trail on the Alltrails app. The hike is 8.8 miles. Find more info here.

    “Challenges involve potential muddy sections, horse droppings, and potential crowding. Be prepared for varied terrain.”

    Please judge your participation by your own level of fitness.

  • As long as the area isn’t experiencing extreme weather in the case of thunderstorms, extreme downpours, etc. then we will still hike. Please plan your attire accordingly with the weather expected for hike day.

  • Last year we carpooled! This helps for those who may not have the means to pay for gas to get up there. I can fit 6 hikers in my car and there’s a possibility of having others who are willing to drive as well if we have a large group.

    You’re also more than welcome to drive yourself in your own vehicle.

  • Alltrails says close to 4 hours, but plan for all day. We will start early at 8am, but depending on weather, crowding, and other possible delays it’s best to plan for the entire day.

  • There is some service at the beginning of the hike, but we will lose service along the way. Please be sure to let your loved ones know where you will be and your expected arrival/departure time in case of emergency.
